Our preschool serves children from infancy to Pre-K. At the moment, we have three classes: Infants, 2s & 3s, and Pre-Kindergarten. Any and all children are welcome to attend Pisgah Weekday School.
About Our Program
Our Schedule
The Pisgah Weekday School has classes Monday through Friday from 8:30 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Also, the preschool accepts children to come 3, 4 or 5 days during the week. This offers the families of our community and church flexibility as they seek to love each other well.
Each day has a flexible daily schedule which may include chapel, learning centers, story time, art & crafts, music and movement time, free play time including outside play or in our church gym, and snack time.
We also follow the Gaston County School schedule as far as holidays, breaks and weather delays are concerned.
Our Purpose
Pisgah Weekday School’s central purpose is to provide the preschool age children of our church and our community with a strong Christian education in a loving and nurturing environment. Since our preschool is a mission of Pisgah ARP Church, we exist to Reach Out in love to these preschoolers and their families.
Our Goal
Our goal is to help our students develop spiritually, intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. We want to help our preschool children grow as whole people made in the image of God. Therefore, the spiritual, mental, and emotional growth of each child is encouraged and nurtured through a variety of experiences in and out of the classroom. The preschool’s curriculum emphasizes social skills, citizenship, and self-esteem.
