When October arrives, our parking lot and Family Life Outreach Center transforms into a safe, family-friendly Halloween alternative that brings our community together. Church members decorate their car trunks with creative themes while providing candy and smiles to children in costumes. This event offers families a secure environment for trick-or-treating while fostering connections between neighbors. Trunk or Treat has become a cherished tradition that demonstrates our commitment to providing wholesome fun for families throughout Gaston County.
Our annual Christmas Program is a cherished tradition that brings our entire church family together to celebrate the birth of our Savior. The evening begins with a delightful crock-pot potluck dinner where the aroma of home-cooked meals fills our fellowship hall and conversation flows freely among all generations. Following dinner, we gather to witness the timeless story of Christ’s birth through the eyes of our children, who present a heartwarming nativity play complete with beloved Christmas carols that invite the whole congregation to sing along. Our youth add depth to the celebration by reading the Christmas narrative from Scripture, reminding us all of the profound miracle of God becoming man. This simple yet meaningful program captures the essence of Christmas—family, tradition, and the incredible story of Jesus’ birth that changed the world forever.
