Middle and High School students have a variety of opportunities for worship, fellowship and service through the youth ministry of Pisgah ARP Church.
Youth
Sunday School
A time of study and instruction in God’s Word and its application to life. Students meet at 9:30am in their designated classrooms in the FLOC.
Mid-Week Services
An informal group time with prayer, Bible study, and fellowship. Special events and service projects like visiting our home-bound members and visiting the “Sunshine Friends” also occur. Students generally meet after Mid-Week dinner at 6:15pm in the FLOC.
ROCK the FLOC
Our Youth meet for bible study at Rock the FlOC. This is a time for our youth to fellowship, sing and go deeper into God’s Word. RTF meets Sunday Nights from 6:30 – 8:00PM.
Retreats & Conferences
Several times a year, the youth get to be a part of various retreats and conferences. Weekend retreats include the 180 Weekend here in Gastonia and the Spring and Fall Presbytery retreats to Bonclarken. Once a year the youth get to attend Quest and Horizon, week-long conferences designed to encourage them in their faith and equip them for service.
Events
Throughout the year, the youth get to serve in several events including the Valentine’s Day Banquet, the Youth Missions Yard Sale, Vacation Bible School and Youth Sunday.
Youth Missions
Every year our high school youth attend Appalachia Mountain Mission, a mission trip organized by Christian Education Ministries of the ARP. Attending with over 15 other churches, the Pisgah Youth serve and offer the light of Christ to the children base of the Appalachian Mountain region.
