At Pisgah, we believe spiritual growth is a lifelong journey. Our Adult Ministry offers various opportunities for members to deepen their faith, build meaningful relationships, and serve others through Christ-centered community. Whether you’re seeking Bible study, fellowship, service opportunities, or all three, we invite you to find your place in our church family.
Scripture guides our approach to adult ministry. We take seriously Paul’s instruction to “carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2). Together, we strive to “encourage one another and build each other up” (1 Thessalonians 5:11) in our faith journey. Our community life is marked by the principle of “outdoing one another in showing honor” (Romans 12:10), creating a culture of genuine care and mutual respect as we grow in Christ.
Our weekly gatherings form the heartbeat of our church family’s journey together. These regular rhythms of community life provide opportunities to share joys and sorrows, to grow spiritually, and to strengthen the bonds that unite us as brothers and sisters in Christ. As Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us, “Two are better than one… If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.” We invite you to join our church family as we journey together toward Christ-likeness, supporting one another every step of the way.
Join us for adult classes that explore Scripture, theology, and practical application of faith. These gatherings provide a smaller community setting where questions are welcomed and relationships flourish.
Join us for our new Reach In programs—Sunday Gatherings!
Once a month, we will share Sunday Suppers immediately following Worship as a church family.
Other Sundays, we will have bible studies for the whole family.
Adults will study Philippians with Pastor Bobby, while kids in Pisgah Pathfinders and students in Rock the FLOC journey through The Biggest Story, discovering how the Bible points to Jesus and connects to their lives today.
Can’t make Sundays? The adult study also meets Wednesdays at 10:00 AM. All are welcome!
Join us each week for our adult Bible study led by Pastor Bobby. Together, we will walk through Paul’s Letter to the Philippians, discovering the joy, strength, and steadfast hope found in Christ. Scripture.
This study matches Sunday’s session. If you can attend both, consider serving in our kids’ or youth programs Sunday afternoons—contact us to volunteer.
The Women’s Ministry of our church creates spaces where women of all ages and stages can grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and serve with their unique gifts. Guided by four key focuses, this vibrant ministry offers multiple ways to connect with likeminded women and serve in our church family and community:
Know Christ More — Providing means by which women may come to know Christ more fully, and how to apply His teachings to all areas of life.
Unite Women — Uniting women in Christian fellowship and service.
Promote Growth — Promoting the spiritual, educational, social, and financial growth of the church.
Outreach & Missions — Increasing knowledge of and participation in community outreach and world-wide Christian missions.
Our Women’s Circles are intimate community groups that combine Bible study, fellowship, and service projects. Each circle has its own unique character while sharing the common goals of our Women’s Ministry.
Our Women’s Circles actively demonstrate Christ’s love through practical service to both our church family and wider community. They coordinate and host cherished church traditions like the Mother’s Day Tea and our annual Easter Egg Hunt, creating meaningful experiences for all generations. Their ministry extends beyond our walls through faithful correspondence with ARP missionaries overseas and service members in the military, providing encouragement to those serving far from home. Within our church family, these women prepare and deliver meals to our “Sunshine Friends” (homebound members), as well as to families welcoming new babies or recovering from surgeries—embodying the biblical call to “serve one another humbly in love” (Galatians 5:13).
Whether you’re seeking deeper biblical understanding, meaningful friendships, or opportunities to serve, our Women’s Ministry welcomes you to join us as we journey together in faith.
The Men of our church meet quarterly for dinner, fellowship, and general meetings during Men’s Fellowship. These gatherings create space for men to build authentic relationships, strengthen their faith, and serve our church and community together.
They also maintain the soccer field, facilitate our Backpack Ministry and help serve during various church events like our annual Ladies’ Night.
Our Young Families Ministry creates intentional spaces where parents in similar life stages can connect, find support, and grow together in faith while navigating the joys and challenges of raising children. Through regular fellowship cookouts in relaxed, family-friendly settings, parents build meaningful relationships while children form friendships that extend beyond Sunday mornings. These gatherings blend casual community-building with opportunities for spiritual encouragement, parenting wisdom, and mutual support. Our Young Families community offers a place to share experiences, pray together, and create lasting memories.
As Proverbs 27:17 reminds us, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another”—we believe that families grow stronger when they journey together. We invite all young families to join us as we seek to nurture faith in our homes and create a supportive church family for the next generation.
This vibrant group meets the third Thursday of each month for fellowship, lunch, and a featured speaker from our community. PCC occasionally plans special outings such as boat tours and day trips. We extend a warm welcome to new members of all ages to join us.
